Source: Five Star Technologies, Ltd.
Five Star Technologies was founded in 1995 as a manufacturer of high performance process equipment for mid to ultra-high shear mixing, particle reduction, reaction enhancement and chemical synthesis. Five Star's equipment lines, all based on our patented controlled flow cavitation (CFC) technology, have been applied to a wide range of processes and industries with superior results. In fact, from our first standard CFC laboratory systems, our product line has now expanded to include pilot, and production systems for emulsions, dispersions, liposomes, encapsulations, reaction enhancement, and chemical synthesis, to name a few.

Centrally located in Cleveland, Ohio, Five Star's new modern pilot plant and manufacturing facility (completed in the 4th quarter, 1999) has been designed with customer responsiveness in mind. We provide sample testing and pilot plant services to help with the application of our equipment to your specific processes. CFC technology is being applied to applications in a diverse range of process industries such as chemical, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, biotech, coatings, and catalysts, to name a few. Our commitment to research and development is focused on helping customers improve current products and enhance new product and process development. Our goal is to design and build integrated, robust, low-maintenance process systems using the superior performance attributes of controlled flow cavitation™ technology
