On September 10, 1999, Barry-Wehmiller Companies, Inc. purchased the assets of Fleetwood Systems, Inc. and merged it with Jetstream Systems, Inc. to form a new Center for Conveyance Technology at Fleetwood's state-of-the-art facility near Chicago.
Fleetwood, Inc. (the new name for the combined company) is now a leading manufacturer of advanced conveyance technology including automated feeding and line conveying, mass flow conveying, air and mechanical conveying, can end conveying, magnetic conveying, palletizing/depalletizing, and material handling equipment. (Note: air conveying products formerly manufactured and sold by Jetstream will continue to carry the Jetstream® brand name.)
