Genitope Selects Elan Software Systems To Streamline The Batch Record Process For MyVax Personalized Immunotherapy
Elan Software Systems, a leading provider of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) software solutions, announced today that Genitope Corporation, a California-based biotechnology company focused on the research and development of novel immunotherapies for the treatment of cancer, selected Elan Software's XFP-EBR to streamline the critical batch process of MyVax personalized immunotherapy. MyVax personalized immunotherapy, is a patient-specific active immunotherapy that is based upon the unique genetic makeup of a patient's tumor and is designed to activate a patient's immune system to identify and attack cancer cells. XFP-EBR will allow Genitope Corporation to streamline resource use and accelerate batch release and time-to-market.
