Gough Econ is a Charlotte, NC based engineering and manufacturing firm. It is a subsidiary of Gough (Holdings) Engineering Ltd. in Stoke-On-Trent, UK, an internationally renowned materials handling and processing systems group. Gough specializes in equipment system installations for major food product processors including confectionary, chocolate, pasta, snacks, cereal, and also other product type manufacturers requiring gentle product handling and sanitary construction.

Gough manufactures a number of pivoting bucket type conveyors, capable of providing multiple-axis material handling to multiple discharge locations. Our Econ-O-Lift © and Swing Link © designs operate with buckets always remaining in an upward facing mode prior to and after discharge. This provides for cleaner operation and discharges product along the lower conveying run, thus eliminating the need for diverters. Both models can be provided with our unique, high-tensile, polyacetal chains. Buckets are constructed from injection-molded polypropylene, mild steel, or stainless steel and are available in widths ranging from 6" to 48". Our Elecon © bucket conveyor system features limitless axis conveying capabilities without product transfer points, resulting in reduced product degradation and loss of expensive coatings.
