Groninger Apprentices Mark Career Milestones

Charlotte, NC - groninger USA proudly announces the graduation of apprentices Connor Benito and Logan Busteed, who today receive their Associate Degrees in Mechatronics Engineering Technology from Central Piedmont Community College. Both young professionals joined groninger’s highly regarded apprenticeship path and now mark a milestone in their technical careers.
Launched in 2015 in partnership with Central Piedmont and the regional apprenticeship initiative Apprenticeship Charlotte, groninger’s apprenticeship program arms participants with on-the-job training at groninger’s Charlotte facility and company-paid education that can be completed within four years. groninger-group.com

groninger USA’s apprenticeship tracks include Mechatronics and Computer Integrated Machining, providing comprehensive training for high-demand careers in technically-oriented areas. The program is open to high school juniors and seniors, veterans, experienced professionals, and nontraditional applicants who meet the following requirements:
- At least 16 years old at the start of the program
- Completion of Algebra 1 & 2, geometry, physics, drafting, and computer application classes (preferred)
- An unweighted GPA of 2.8
- Good attendance record
