Hach Ultra Introduces The Latest Advance In Process Analytical Technology — The ANATEL PAT700 On-Line TOC Analyzer

Hach Ultra is proud to introduce its newest innovation in on-line total organic carbon (TOC) analysis: The ANATEL PAT700. The ANATEL PAT700 has been specifically designed to streamline process analytical technology applications, enabling TOC analysis for pharmaceutical water release to be moved from the laboratory to the production floor.

To simplify on-line compliance with USP <643> and <645>, EP 2.2.44 and JP <60>, the ANATEL PAT700 features an On-board Automated Standards Introduction System (OASIS). Using innovative RFID technology and by automating standards introduction into the system, OASIS dramatically reduces operator intervention, eliminates potential operator error, and ensures that the instrument is always operating in a validated state.

The ANATEL PAT700 features a unique excursion sampling system that automatically saves a water sample should the analyzer detect a value exceeding a preset TOC or conductivity limit during operation. The system can also be programmed to run a system validation to ensure the analyzer is working properly.

Through leading-edge design, the ANATEL PAT700 provides new levels of uptime and dependability never before seen in an on-line TOC analyzer. The ANATEL PAT700 is the first TOC instrument to feature dual UV lamps with UV Detect technology. The UV Detect system continuously monitors the performance of the TOC oxidation UV source and will automatically switch lamps as required to allow the system to maintain uninterrupted operation.

From Hach Ultra, the inventor of on-line TOC, the ANATEL PAT700 is Process Analytical Technology that can be easily integrated into process control environments, minimizing risk while achieving real-time release of pharmaceutical water.
