Harrington Industrial Plastics, Inc. was founded in 1959 with the goal of being a major player in the distribution of industrial plastic pipe, fittings and valves for corrosive liquid service. A decade later the company was purchased by Cliff Springmeier and was expanded to include an environmental engineering group. In 1989, Harrington Industrial Plastics, Inc. was purchased by Glynwed International of Birmingham, England. Glynwed International is listed on the London exchange reporting year-end sales in 1996 of $2.13 billion.

Today, Harrington is the nation's largest distributor of industrial plastic piping and the FRP equipment manufacturer others try to imitate. Harrington's 50,000 square foot corporate facility and master warehouse, located in Chino, California, includes a service, repair and pipe fabrication area. There are now over 40 strategically located branches throughout the continental U.S. and Hawaii to serve your needs. These facilities house over $15 million in inventory including PVC, CPVC, PVDF, polypropylene, fiberglass and plastic-lined steel, as well as all the components for a complete system such as tanks, grating, pumps, flow meters and instrumentation. This extensive inventory means readily available products for our customers.

Harrington Environmental Engineering, in San Bernardino, California, directs its energies toward non-corrosive fume handling equipment for the corrosion industry. Harrington Environmental Engineering is the industry leader producing six styles of FRP fans, the latest in cross flow and counter current fume scrubbers, mist elimination equipment, hoods, ductwork and other air pollution control equipment.
