Homogenizer Touch Screen Panel

The market of new applications and treated products for instance with proteins and probiotics has been increasing, and the control of working parameters and component lifetime in these more complicated applications, becomes more and more important.

In order to ensure the correct running of the homogenizer in any process step, GEA Niro Soavi has developed the HomoGENIUS™, a new dashboard on the machine, an innovative 10" touch screen panel where the customer has the possibility to monitor and control, locally or in remote, all the machines working parameters and components life time.

The homogenizer has not to be considered as a "white box" inside a plant anymore;
HomoGENIUS™ communicates the operating parameters selected by the customers, thanks to its auto-diagnostic system, it is able to communicate the machine needs directly to the Service department in order to ensure an optimal and immediate assistance to the customer. In case of ordinary maintenance, it advises the troubleshooter about the wear component to be replaced or simply controlled.

The new HomoGENIUS™ touch screen panel meets and exceeds the client‘s needs in terms of automation and process control. The panel is able to record the trend of parameters in real time and allows the downloading of data by USB memory stick or via an Ethernet port.

In terms of security HomoGENIUS™ features the typical characteristics of GEA Niro Soavi advanced engineering; with 4 levels of security passwords it allows the machine setting only to authorized personnel. Moreover, for the first time HomoGENIUS™ introduces the user in the digital maintenance manual and in case of control failure or sudden critical parameters changes, HomoGENIUS™ stops the machine automatically and indicating where the problem is.
