A homogenizer is a single acting reciprocating multi-plunger pump with an adjustable valve, the homogenizing valve, able to create the pressure used to micronize various products.

Homogenizers can apply dynamic pressure under continuous flow conditions, processing fluids like emulsions and dispersions for a large variety of applications, viscosities and physical properties.

GEA Niro Soavi homogenizers are available in a wide range of high pressure and low pressure models providing throughputs from 100 l/h to 50,000 l/h at continuous working pressures from 100 bar up to 1500 bar.
