Cold chain for the life sciences, which is part of cold chain logistics, is only one small part of a much larger — and ever-growing —logistics industry. However, because of the various considerations that go into life science cold chain, what happens in this small part of the industry can be a good indicator for larger trends overall. Afterall, what other industry ships high value, often temperamental goods globally, to both commercially and clinically, businesses and consumers alike and, on top of that, is subject to challenging regulatory restrictions?
