This pre-formulated, serum and protein-free biopreservation hypothermic (2-8°C) media is designed to improve and extend cell, tissue, and organ preservation during storage and/or shipping. It minimizes the molecular cell stress response that can occur when biologics, intermediate products, and final cell products used in research and clinical applications are chilled and/or re-warmed.
HypoThermosol® biopreservation media meets USP <71> sterility and USP <85> endotoxin standards, and has proven to be effective in post-preservation necrosis and apoptosis reduction.
