Inceutica to Deliver Keynote Address at Poma's

Johnson, Inceutica's Senior Director of Strategy & Operations, has been selected to give the keynote address at the Pharmaceutical Outsourcing Management Association (POMA) 2001 Annual Meeting "Global Outsourcing in the Electronic Age". The meeting is being held in Orlando, FL from February 12-15, 2001.
Dr. Johnson has twelve years of industry experience in pharmaceutical research and development, most recently focused on the planning and implementation of innovative knowledge management systems for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and contract research organizations. As an industry expert, Dr. Johnson has lectured and/or presented at various national and international conferences dealing with knowledge management, electronic document management, people-technology interfaces, virtual teams, alliance management, and information security.
"Most pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies have realized the value of technologies such as intranets/extranets, electronic data collection, and groupware/collaboration systems. However, there is still much room for improvement in the costly and time-consuming process of drug development. This year's meeting theme, "Global Outsourcing in the Electronic Age," will allow industry professionals to share information on the best practices related to outsourcing of clinical studies, manufacturing, product development, analytical development and other related functions.
