Computer Keyboard Systems has developed the Series 42, an industrial-class keyboard with a built-in TraCKSball. The keyboard comes in both horizontal and vertical panel-mount versions, and is suitable for any Windows environment.

The 50 mm integral trackball eliminates the need for a mouse and mousepad. The complete keyboard/trackball meets NEMA 4 and 4X standards. All units are CE Mark certified with a five-year warranty.

The keyboard's individual, mechanical keyswitches, rated at over 20 million cycles, are protected by a 2mm-thick steel plate, a polyester front sheet, and overall moisture-protection sealing. The "Faraday cage"construction complies with all applicable EMC/EMI requirements. The keyboard is designed to operate with all common interfaces, including IBM PC AT/PS/2, DEC and RS232 Serial, and the TraCKSball with Microsoft Mouse, IBM PS/2 and DEC.
