Industrial Protection Devices

Industrial Protection Devices was formed in 1992 as a Sales/Marketing operation for explosion suppression systems developed by Advanced Innovation, Inc. (AI). Using the initials IPD as a logo, the AI-developed systems were introduced with the FM label in 1993.

The mission of the AI/IPD organization is to provide products for the protection of processes that have an inherent explosion potential. Primary objectives are to reduce the overall cost of suppression system ownership through simplified installation, maintenance and refit, and to include features that safeguard personnel who must maintain the protected processes.
