InPro8400 Series (Forward Light Scattering 12°/Transmitted Light)

Source: Mettler-Toledo AG, Process Analytics, Inc.
InPro8400 turbidity sensors are ideal for detection of larger particles (= 0.3 µm). The simultaneous measurement of forward scattered and direct light allows compensation of color changes. Typical applications: filter breakthrough detection, detection of emulsified oil in water, beer/beverage clarity.

Different turbidity ranges require an optimum measuring technique for reliable measurements in process liquids. For low turbidity measurements the forward scattered light sensors of the InPro8400 series have proven to deliver the most precise results. Sapphire optics allow measurements in the harshest conditions and resist coating which maintains peak accuracy.

Features and Benefits
