Inspection of tablets and capsules - Seidenader ATI / ACI

The Seidenader ATI is an automatic machine to inspect the entire surface of plain or coated tablets.

The Seidenader ACI is using a similar concept to inspect hard gelatin capsules. Special camera stations inspect the top and bottom surface of the tablets or the cylindrical part of the capsules. Additional camera stations for inspection of the areas around the tablet perimeter or the areas around the capsule tips with different light techniques are optionally available.

Inspection criteria ATI for plain or coated tablets:
Dirt, "black specks", geometry, broken tablets, half tablets, chipped tablets, coating defects, color deviations, capped tablets, foreign product, print existing, print blur.

Inspection criteria ACI for hard gelatin capsules:
Black specks, foreign material, dirt, geometry, bubble heads, "golf balls", double shells, cracks, orange skin, dents, length, color deviations, print incomplete or missing.

Throughput rate of the inspection machines:
up to 3,000 units/min, depending on product size, shape and inspection criteria.
