Fermentation has, over the years developed into an exact science. Close attention is paid to ingredients used in production and the environmental influences such as temperature and humidity, these factors are all vitally important and carefully controlled. However the ability to evaluate their impact can only come from accurate monitoring of the process itself.

The company has identified this problem and provided a solution that monitors emissions of CO₂, O₂ and hydrocarbon levels emitted from the product. This allows the production workers to make necessary nutritional or environmental adjustments and maximise the process efficiency.

The company uses the photacoustics and magnetoacoustics of Innova's 1311 in order to offer the same accuracy as a spectrum analyser at a much lower purchase and running cost. The Innova 1311 offers accuracy, fast response times and when used in conjunction with the Intelligent Sampling System MK2, can provide analysis of up to 36 different sample points.
