Interleaf Tool to Compare Multiple Document Revisions
Interleaf, Inc. this week announced the availability of Interleaf Resemblance, an automated tool for comparing finished Interleaf 5 and Interleaf 6 document revisions. Interleaf Resemblance provides Interleaf's installed base of I5 and I6 users with greater value from their software investment by extending document comparison functionality beyond standard I5 and I6 revision markup.
Interleaf Resemblance differs from the revision markup functions available with I5 and I6 by analyzing changes made to finished documents instead of highlighting changes in a document revision as they occur. I5 and I6 users can compare any two versions of a document without invoking revision tracking during the authoring process
"Interleaf Resemblance is ideally suited for any business application where changes made to lengthy documents must be clearly documented," stated Michael Torto, Interleaf's vice president of worldwide marketing. "It should be considered whenever Interleaf users have legal, contractual or financial incentives to quickly and accurately compare documents."
Interleaf Resemblance users benefit from a faster and more accurate method of identifying document changes, which often leads directly to cost savings from the reduction in time and labor required for the document review and translation cycle. Due to the importance of managing long, complex documents such as contracts, technical manuals, price books and parts catalogs, Interleaf Resemblance is a valuable solution for government, manufacturing, legal and financial services users.

Interleaf's flagship publishing and assembling solutions, Interleaf 5 and Interleaf 6 are designed for users who assemble and publish large documents in workgroup environments. I5 and I6 are comprehensive publishing solutions for creating and assembling complex documents which include technical and procedural manuals, financial and regulatory reports, articles, catalogs, proposals and training materials in the manufacturing, aerospace, finance, government, petroleum/chemical, pharmaceutical/biotech and telecommunications industries.
