Klinge Pharma was established in Killorglin in the 1970's and is a subsidiary of Klinge Pharma GmbH, which is based in Munich, and part of the Fujisawa Group. At Killorglin, they have a multi-purpose pharmaceutical facility engaged in the manufacture of a wide range of products for the treatment of diseases.

Over the years, Klinge Pharma has evolved from being a supplier of bulk pharmaceutical chemicals to a company that now makes and markets its own added-value formulations.

Klinge Pharma have held the Quality Mark since 1990 and are also audited by the FDA.

They have an international reputation for their sustained release pellets. These pellets make it possible for medicines to be safer and more effective in the treatment of disorders such as arthritis, asthma and hypertension.
