Jacobs Engineering Secures Genentech Contract

Genentech, Inc. has contracted Jacobs Engineering Group of Ohio to complete the expansion of its multiproduct manufacturing facility in Vacaville, CA. The Phase III project provides additional process and utility systems to expand the production capacity of the manufacturing facility.

John McLachlan, Jacobs Group vice president, welcomed the announcement, saying, "We are pleased that Genentech chose to continue our relationship with them on the Vacaville Phase III project. We are thoroughly familiar with their project since we executed the Phase I design."
