Kemutec Expands Its Contract Processing Capabilities

Kemutec-UK, is delighted to announce the addition of a PPS 3CMT Air Classifier Mill to its contract processing facility

The addition of the Air Classifier Mill expands Kemutec's contract milling capabilities for the food and fine chemical industries. The new mill offers grinding and classifying in one machine while maintaining a constant output and controlled particle size distribution. The CMT milling system will effectively and economically grind, separate, collect and control the product in one operation achieving typical d50 values

The 3CMT compliments Kemutec's current on site milling capabilities detailed below with the rest of the product range.

Range of Equipment
The Kemutec range of grinding mills, from the KEK Kibbler Pre-breaker to the PPS Air Classifier Mill enables the break down of lumps from the range of 150mm down to 5µm mean particle size:

KEK Kibbler Mills reduce lumps of up to 150mm dia. down to 2 – 3mm with a narrow particle size distribution and minimal fines.

KEK Cone Mills typically grind from 25mm down to 250µm.

KEK Universal Mills are capable of grinding materials of up to 3 Moh hardness down to less than 15µm particle size.

PPS Air Classifier Mills achieve typical d50 values of 5 - 100µm.

KEK Centrifugal Sifters with cantilevered shaft for easy cleaning and efficient sieving available for use with a range of nylon, wedge wire or woven wire screens.

GARDNER Plough and Ribbon Mixers with working capacities of up to 2.5 tonnes per day and can be jacketed for heating, cooling and drying to meet specific requirements.

Process Capabilities
