Where physical protection and containment of fine glassware and kilo-lab sized reaction rigs are a requirement, our custom-built enclosures are a perfect solution. These large walk-in modular enclosures are often called 'well ventilated rooms' and provide horizontal flow in the case of solvent vapor control with vertical downflow being more common in higher dust burden applications. In the latter, it is usual for vertical laminar downflow to be aplied both outside of the enclosure over the door area and also internaly over the loading area of the reaction process. In both design configurations, air is exhausted away at the rear of the enclosure through perforated grill plates and localised flow can also be provided inside the enclosure to ensure added protection of the operator during the loading process.
