KMI, GE Form Alliance to Design Instrument Control Systems

KMI%> (Belmont, MA) and GE Instrument Control Service (ICS) signed a collaborative marketing agreement to design, install, qualify, and maintain control systems at reduced costs and with greater efficiency.

The alliance will use KMI GMPware Intelligent Software Tools to automate and reduce costs associated with regulatory, validation, and compliance activities. These tools include a validation protocol module, an engineering specification module, and a change control module.

In other KMI news, the company has added five former FDA professionals to its ranks since January 1999. These new members are: Mark Balboni, David Bergeson, Mark Lynch, Michael Spangenberg, and Richard Wright. Along with industry experts John Ficalora and Kenneth Drost, Compliance Services is comprised of 19 former FDA Investigators.
