Lab Scale Blender With P.A.T. Analysis To Be Displayed At INTERPHEX Puerto Rico

Matcon will be exhibiting a "LAB SCALE BLENDER WITH P.A.T. ANALYSIS," fitted with a Mathis thermal 'effusivity' sensor. Demonstrations and discussions will show how NIR and thermal conductivity measurement is being successfully applied in the Pharmaceutical industry for the validation and processing of blended solids.

Demonstrations will include simple blending trials with indication of the achieved consistency of the blend via the Mathis instrumentation.

Matcon industry specialists will be available to discuss P.A.T. and the implications on the technologies introduction into continuous/batch production and the various process concerns over; sifting, percolation and elutriation, which cause segregation during the handling of the blended solids.
