Great Western Inorganics, Inc.l SandPIPER II plastic pumps come in sizes from 1-3 in. with a maximum flow of 260 gal (984 L). All pumps have a bolted design. V-band clamps are not used. This results in a much stronger construction and easier maintenance. The pumps also feature the latest design of no-lube, non-stall air valve, which is more energy efficient than before. The modular air valve has no close-fitting components and is tolerant of dirty or wet compressed air.
The pumps are well suited for pumping aggressive chemicals. They are offered in PVDF or polypropylene with Santoprene or Teflon diaphragms and ball valves. Spill containment, leak detection, and pulse output interface options are available for all models. Air valve, check valve cartridges, and manifolds are modular in design and in-line serviceable. The line provides interchangeability of parts from model to model for less required inventory of normal-wearing parts.
