Sterile production is accomplished in one of 14 aseptic suites. The sterile facilities are supported by additional warehousing and secondary packaging capacity. The facilities have been FDA inspected, (by both CDER and CBER), and GMP approved for specific production. Additional production areas are being added.

The Vetter Lyo-Ject® dual-chamber syringe is the result of a pharmaceutical process developed to store two incompatible substances in one container. This could be a lyophilisate and diluent, or two liquids. Several manufacturers have found distinct marketing advantages using this proprietary process to package drugs that must be mixed or reconstituted immediately prior to injection.
