MECO Announces New Head Of Operations

We are excited to announce that Shelley Compton has rejoined MECO as our new Head of Operations based in Mandeville, LA.

With over 25 years of experience in operations, engineering, and executive management across the defense, industrial, commercial, and service sectors, Shelley brings a wealth of expertise and leadership back to our team. Most recently, she served as Vice President of Quality, Engineering & Supply Management at Seemann Composites LLC. Throughout her distinguished career, she has held key leadership roles, including Vice President of Life Cycle Support, Vice President of Engineering at Textron Marine & Land Systems, and Vice President of Quality & Technical Services here at MECO. Shelley’s experience includes co-owning Hawk Industrial Services and pivotal positions at American Airlines, Philips Electronics, and Texas Instruments.

In her role at MECO, Shelley will be instrumental in continuously improving our manufacturing operations and quality standards. Her commitment to operational excellence will help ensure that MECO continues to innovate and deliver the highest levels of performance and customer satisfaction.

Shelley holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mississippi. Her credentials include certifications as a Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), AS9100 and ISO9001 Lead Auditor, and Project Management Professional (PMP).
