Medicinal Chemistry
Discovery Library Synthesis
ChemRx is a leading provider of large combinatorial libraries to the pharmaceutical industry. Our expert chemists constantly research and design novel scaffolds which have broad utility, are unencumbered by existing patents, and are amenable to subsequent optimization chemistry. Using these scaffolds we are able to rapidly produce large diverse libraries which may be used for a broad spectrum of targets. When a hit is obtained from a library it may be taken directly into a lead optimization program. Synthesis protocols are also available, depending on your needs.
Targeted Library Synthesis
Targeted libraries are used to find hits for specific targets. Targeted libraries are designed by incorporating as much knowledge target and its ligand or substrate as possible. By utilizing this information we can produce libraries that will optimally interact with the ligand binding site and simultaneously explore surrounding regions. Targeted libraries are the most effective way to leverage medicinal chemistry expertise.
Focused Library Synthesis
Focused libraries are used to advance hits to leads. By combining computational design methods with the expertise of our chemists we can rapidly design and synthesize small, focused libraries for the effective optimization of hits to leads. Our high throughput chemistry infrastructure enables the rapid production of successive optimization libraries, ensuring the fastest possible lead optimization process.
Lead Optimization Synthesis
Lead optimization may be done using combinatorial or traditional synthesis methodologies. Our goal is to use the most appropriate platform, synthetic route, and reaction conditions to ensure the most efficient synthesis of your compounds.
Custom Library Synthesis
If you have designed compounds or compound libraries, and need resources to perform the actual synthesis, you may use our synthesis capabilities for the production of your compounds. Production will be carried out using the same rigorous protocol that is used for all compound production.
