Meissner Is Pleased To Announce Its Participation In The BioProduction Congress 2018, Dublin, Ireland!

BioProduction Congress, co-located with the Bioanalytical and Formulation Summit, will be held October 9th-10th, 2018, at the Convention Centre Dublin, Ireland. Meissner will be exhibiting in booth #57 in order to support the delivery of two key technology updates that will be given during the event, as part of the Live Labs Tour, and as part of the Continuous Manufacturing Stream. Thomas Vandromme, Business Development Manager, will deliver the first update on modular overmolding technology as part of the event’s “Live Labs Tour.” His presentation will be hosted in booth #57 on Oct. 9th from 13:50 – 14:00. The presentation will focus on the benefits of the new technology, including an increase in fluid path robustness and an overall decrease in the number of fluid contact materials. Reduction of overall process risk will be discussed.

Thomas Hilfer, Senior Scientist, Biologics Engineering, of MSD, USA, will present a technology update on the Continous Manufacturing Stream, Oct. 9th at 14:40, for a “Large Scale Single-Use Bulk Drug Substance Freeze and Thaw Platform.” The presentation will provide an overview of a novel single-use end-to-end solution for freeze, thaw, handling, and transportation of Bulk Drug Substance. It will include design consideration, scalability, stability, and proof of concept.

BioProduction Congress will focus on several main Conference Streams: Continuous Manufacturing, Cell Culture and Upstream Process Development, Downstream Processing, Microbial Manufacturing and Smart Factories.
