MES Express for weigh-dispense operations
Honeywell POMS, a business of Honeywell Hi-Spec Solutions, announced today the release of MES Express for weigh-dispense operations — the first in a series of compactly packaged software modules that enable fast implementation and quick payback for healthcare, pharmaceutical, and consumer packaged goods (CPG) manufacturers.
MES Express packages the weigh-dispense functionality from the industry-leading POMS MES solution, providing a single, focused solution that automates the weigh-dispense activity in manufacturing operations to improve both quality and product throughput.
"It has long been recognized that manually weighing and dispensing materials is a burden on production operations in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, and CPG industries," said Wayne Castner, President of Honeywell POMS. "By packaging the weigh-dispense functionality from our POMS MES product into MES Express, we can offer a rapidly implemented solution to this problem.
