Mettler-Toledo Safeline To Exhibit Its Product Inspection Equipment At INTERPHEX 2008

Mettler-Toledo Safeline, the worldwide leader in metal detection and x-ray inspection equipment, will exhibit its state-of-the-art metal detectors and x-ray inspection equipment in booth #435 at INTERPHEX to be held at the Philadelphia Convention Center, March 26–28.

Safeline will have an in-booth promotion during exposition hours and will give away six iPods throughout the show. Visitors can enter a drawing in booth #435; two winners each day will receive an 8GB iPod Nano!

The booth will showcase three Safeline metal detectors, including a PowerPhasePRO with a plastic chain conveyor. The PowerPhasePRO is a three frequency metal detector with an intuitive, icon-driven color touch screen interface and delivers quick, true automatic product set-up. It is the most sensitive metal detector available today and detects ferrous, non-ferrous, and stainless steel contaminants up to 40% smaller than any other metal detector.

Safeline's Tablex 2 — the latest metal detector for the pharmaceutical industry with maximum sensitivity, flexibility and stability — will also be featured. The Tablex 2 has a very user-intuitive interface and a highly flexible design. It's very small footprint fits easily into space-restricted areas and the position of the detector head can be easily adjusted to suit any process equipment configuration. The system also lends ultimate mobility and improved stability with robust, low profile castors.

Safeline's Pharma GF metal detector is designed for the inspection of gravity fall fine powders for the pharmaceutical industry. The Pharma GF is built to comply with FDA, GMP standards and to satisfy the demands of the industry and provides unrivalled sensitivity to all metal contaminants including non-magnetic stainless steels and difficult to find, minute sieve wire contaminants.

Safeline's booth will also feature a PowerChekPlus x-ray inspection unit which is unmatched in the industry for sensitivity and fully automatic product set-up. Utilizing electronically-generated low-energy x-ray technology, this inspection system detects and rejects many contaminants in bulk or sealed products such as metal, stone, bone, glass, and dense plastics. The system can also verify fill levels and confirm that all components such as leaflets or rows of blister packs are present. All Mettler-Toledo Safeline x-ray inspection systems are extremely easy to use and we offer full operator training programs.
