MFT Automation Introduces New Tray Former System

MFT Automation, an international leader in the design and manufacture of automated packaging solutions for the pharmaceutical, medical, food and beverage, is proud to unveil its latest packaging solution – the MFT Tray Former. Our newest innovation is compatible with MFT friction feeders, robotic technologies, and more to create full packaging systems.

The MFT Tray Former assembles cardboard trays and delivers them to the next step in the packaging process. It utilizes MFT friction feeders and is compatible with any size in the MFT feeder line. Some key features include:

• OSHA-compliant guarding with interlocked doors
• Servo-driven RAM assembly that guides tray blanks through three-stage die assembly
• Pneumatic flaps with LoTo air supply regulation
• Infrared sensor that allows for accurate count using double-detect and overlap detection
• Compact and mobile design
• Highly customizable to fit specific applications and needs.

MFT Automation will be showcasing its new Tray Former at Pack Expo in Las Vegas, Nev. From Sept. 11-13. MFT will be running demos at the bottom of every hour (:30s) throughout the show.
