Micron's White LED vision systems

The latest innovative pharmaceutical blister vision inspection system from scanware electronic, GmbH, will be demonstrated by Micron Automation, Inc., in booth # 925 at Interphex 2001 on a Klockner thermoformer.

The new Lynx systems offer adjustable white LED illumination units with individual brightness controls to ensure that optimal and precisely reproducible light conditions can be selected for each format.

The illumination settings are easily adjusted via menu-driven prompts during teach-in, stored with each format, and automatically recalled when the format is reloaded from memory. The settings for the toplight and/or backlight units are independently selected, and become a permanent part of the individual documentation record for that format.

Upgrading to the new white LED Lynx illumination system is easily achievable for every current Lynx-Ultra system on any blister line. The scanware Lynx vision systems are compatible with any type of thermoformer produced globally, and can be installed and integrated into all existing lines with ease, usually within two days.

All scanware vision systems are very easy-to-use via menu-driven prompts, and any set-up can be accomplished within a matter of minutes. Not only will these systems inspect your product prior to the sealing station, but also have been successfully used for after-the-seal product inspections.

Mated with the near-infrared spectroscopy (NIR) system for product chemical composition analysis, the integrated systems offered by Micron Automation accomplish true 100% inspection of your product for both physical and chemical properties.
