Mobile Lab For A Large Pharma Client – BSL3 Custom Mobile Laboratory

This client required a safe and secure environment for MTech development work with PPD powder, derived from Mycobacterium tuberculosis and classified as Risk Group 3. Germfree designed a custom BSL-3 mobile laboratory on a 53' trailer chassis, providing approximately 250 square feet of containment space.

The lab was engineered to operate in harsh winter conditions in Toronto and seamlessly integrate with existing utility, BMS, and security systems. Key features included a 100% fresh air pass, an emergency safety shower, a full heater system, and heated floors. Germfree also built all casework, including sink cabinets, rolling workstations, shelves, and a bottle cart.
