Product Description:
All in one tester! The Model 8M is the best selling bench top hardness tester from Pharmatron. Using the same strain gauge S beam load cell as the Model 6D and AutoTest 4 ensures consistent results throughout the manufacturer's product lifecycle. What makes the 8M especially versatile is its built in capability to connect to an optional balance and thickness gauge. Along with the distance measurement capability of the breaking jaws, this tester can also measure diameter. So, you have an economical, manually fed system for measuring weight, thickness, diameter and hardness.

The Model 8M has an easy to use but a powerful embedded menu which allows the operator to set up as many as 19 product profiles that include Product Name and Number Batch code and Press Identifiers as well as the users name, out of plausibility,T1 and T2 limits and many other selectable items. In addition you have the capability of producing customizable reports. The 8M also has an RS232 output port so you can hook up to a data collection system or upload data to MS Excel®.

The Model 8M can be used to measure any shape and form of solid dose. Optional quick change fixtures make sample alignment easy and repeatable. An easy to use menu makes product set up a snap. The 8M accommodates a plain paper 40 column printer or a serial printer using standard 8 ½ X 11 inch plain paper. Using the companion user friendly TabStat 2000 software makes data storage and batch evaluation an easy task. You can even export data and generate custom reports using MS Excel®. Need to network several testers to your mainframe? No problem TabStat 2000 can do that.
