Product Description:
A fully automatic 4 way tablet tester! The Model AT4 is a well proven automatic tablet tester which measures weight, thickness diameter and hardness. The AutoTest 4 from Schleuniger Pharmatron can be found in R & D, QC Labs and on the production floor. Whether it's a global manufacturer with worldwide operations or a small one shop operation, manufacturers of solid dosage forms recognize the value of automating the testing process with a Pharmatron AT4.
Using the same strain gauge S beam load cell as the Model 6D and 8M bench top hardness testers, the AutoTest 4 ensures consistent results throughout the product lifecycle. An optional 12 magazine feeder can be used processing a variety of shapes and sizes without the need for the operator to change settings between products. Everything the tester needs to know can be set up in a stored product profile. Staging a product involves a couple of mouse clicks and then the tests are performed automatically.
The AutoTest makes its greatest return on investment when attached directly to a tablet press. Using an optional tablet diverter and transport system, the AT4 can accommodate either a single or double sided press. Most major press manufacturers have written an interface between their controller and the AT4 so the test output can be used to automatically control the press. However, if your press does not have a controller you can still use the AT4 and diverter right out of the box. There are no mechanical or electrical connections required to begin automatically testing and reporting from any press!
Easy to use but powerful 21 CFR Part 11 compliant software controls the tester and stores data. The software also has an automatic data export feature so data can be input to other data collection software. Alarms can be set which alert the operator of out of tolerance conditions either using visual and/or audible alarms. The alarm function in the PH21 software can even be used to shut down your press if certain limits are exceeded.
When it comes to validation Pharmatron has a complete library of validation protocols. You can execute them using your own personnel or we can provide on-site support and perform the complete validation for you.
