Multi-Column Chromatography Process Modeling For Process Performance Prediction
By Mark Pagkaliwangan, Sartorius Stedim North America, Inc. and Xhorxhi Gjoka, Rene Gantier, Mark Schofield, Pall Life Sciences
Multi-column capture chromatography offers significant benefits, but determining the best process conditions can be resource-intensive and time-consuming. This study assesses three modeling approaches to streamline process optimization. The most effective model is then used to investigate the impact of the number of columns and column configuration on both productivity and binding capacity.
