New High Voltage CCIT Inspection Technology For All Parenteral And Biologic Products

This poster presentation explains a new technology for integrity testing/leak detection for all parenteral and biologic products including low conductivity liquids such as sterile water for injection (WFI).

This poster presentation will explain a groundbreaking new technology, MicroCurrent HVLD, for integrity testing/leak detection for all parenteral and biologic products including low conductivity liquids such as sterile water for injection (WFI).

MicroCurrent HVLD technology is a new class of HVLD. This new technology uses a unique mode of MicroCurrent HVLD, applying less than 50% of the voltage used with conventional high voltage technologies. The nature of this solution allows for testing packages with extremely low conductivity liquids such as sterile water (WFI). The MicroCurrent applied to the product during the test greatly reduces the voltage exposed to the product and environment. MicroCurrent HVLD reduces voltage exposure to the product to less than 5% of the voltage exposure experienced when testing with comparable HVLD solutions.

The objective of the presentation is to provide attendees with an in-depth overview of the technology as well as provide statistical test result data of the new MicroCurrent HVLD technology compared with conventional HVLD methods. Attendees will learn the many advantages of how this new technology can be applied for testing all liquid parenteral products, including extremely low conductivity liquids such as sterile water (WFI).
