New England Machinery, Inc. (NEM), is proud to announce our newest model, the NERBU, Rotary Beltless Unscrambler. This rotary turret style is designed with all FDA approved contact surfaces. It offers a fully adjustable bowl, chute and container grippers and fast, easy changeover with no change parts. The machine has a small footprint and low overall machine height. An optional ionized air rinser comes in three styles, evasive, passive, and invasive. Depending on container size, shape and configuration, the NERBU can operate at speeds to 240+ cpm. This machine is particularly well suited for pharmaceutical, food and beverage applications, but will reduce changeover downtime for all applications.

Founded in 1974, New England Machinery has over thirty years experience in designing and manufacturing of material handling and packaging machinery for the plastics industry. President/CEO Judith Nickse explains: "New England Machinery has a long tradition in assisting our customers by designing machinery to meet their specific needs. Our engineers are experienced in creating new concepts to meet the evolving challenges within the plastics and container handling industries. The model NERBU is another example of how we help our customers accomplish satisfactory end results to keep their production moving."

A prototype NERBU was first introduced by NEM at the Interphex 2004 trade show in New York City. The machine caused quite a stir at the show and is now ready for production.
