New High Speed Rotary Labeler Handles Wide Range of Containers with Rapid Changeover to Maximize Production Flexibility

NJM/CLI introduces the Model 337 Commander II Rotary Labeler, designed to ensure superior labeling accuracy and production flexibility. NJM/CLI's new high speed, servo-driven 16-turret rotary labeler handles a wide range of containers and applies a variety of label configurations while minimizing downtime with a rapid no-tools-required changeover capability.

Ideal for pharmaceutical manufacturers, the Model 337 Commander II labels square, round, oblong and rectangular containers, applying single, dual, three-, four- and five-panel pressure sensitive labels, as well as wraparound labels and outserts. NJM/CLI introduces its unique segmented replaceable bottle plate cams that control the movement of the bottle platform, allowing for the widest range of labeling and inspection capabilities.

Integrating seamlessly with a variety of devices, the Model 337 Commander II Rotary Labeler easily accepts detection devices such as vision systems for bar code verification and date and lot code inspection. Non-conforming containers are rejected from the labeler's starwheel system. Positive container tracking assures the right container is rejected from the production line to maximize product quality.

Pneumatic container hold-downs provide positive pressure control to improve labeling accuracy and container handling. On the label web, NJM/CLI's power unwind and smart power re-wind achieve positive web handling to optimize label registration. With servo-driven dispensing heads, the precision-engineered Model 337 Commander II labels containers with precision and accuracy.

The Model 337 Commander II handles containers from 2 to 12 inches in height with diameters from 1-3/16 to 6 inch round or 4 by 4 inch square, applying labels from 5/8 to 5 inches high.

A simple, no-tools-required changeover routine is achieved with quick-change hubs, minimal change parts and fewer required adjustments. Pharmaceutical manufacturers can pre-program NJM/CLI's new rotary labeler for different containers and label applications, easing changeover and eliminating operator errors. A user-friendly touch-screen control panel further simplifies operation and reduces operator-training requirements.

Dual vertical label roll supplies and an integrated splice table simplify label changes. Motor driven rotary turret height adjustment and visual message beacons, further ease use. The raised bed stainless steel conveyor meets GMP standards. Additionally, NJM/CLI can configure the Model 337 Commander II labeler to comply with 21CFR Part 11.

NJM/CLI offers complete product support including line integration, system validation, installation, set-up, operational training and comprehensive product documentation, reducing installation and maintenance costs by providing a total solution.
