New Specialty Packaging Services For Pharmaceuticals, Cosmetics And Personal Care Products
Polysciences, one of a handful of U.S. contract manufacturers equipped to package color-sensitive cosmetics and personal care products under GMP standards, has expanded its services with the addition of a new Bossar BPH-1400 Horizontal Pouch Machine. Polysciences offers many packaging options for solids, including fine powders and granulated materials, and liquids, including creams and gels. Polysciences cost-effectively packages quantities of 150,000 items or more.
Polysciences, known in the industry for its high-purity formulations, operates an FDA-regulated, EPA-registered facility for manufacturing gels, powders, high- and low-viscosity liquids, creams, sterile products, soaps, and salts. The new Bossar Pouch Machine packages three or four-sided pouches made from polyester, aluminum, polyethylene, nylon, and material combinations in sizes ranging from a few grams to a few ounce. Minimum pouch size is 2 7/8 inches (73 mm) wide by 2 3/16 inches (55 mm) high. Maximum pouch size is 5 ½ inches (140 mm) wide by 6 11/16 inches (170 mm) high.
