Newbery Joins KMI

KMIsion of PAREXEL International, LLC, has announced the appointment of Alan Newbery as Senior Compliance Consultant. He joins KMI from PAREXEL's Uxbridge, UK, office where he specialized in GMP compliance issues associated with pharmaceutical applications. Previously, he worked in many areas of the pharmaceutical industry, including Quality Control on method development, Sterile Manufacturing on regulatory inspections and GMP requirements associated with Site and Product License Applications.

Newbery will perform compliance audits and consulting regarding pharmaceutical and biotechnology in both the United States and Europe for KMI alan.newbury@parexel.com). He is a Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry and a Chartered Chemist.

Along with eight industry experts, the KMI Compliance Services group, based in Alpharetta, Ga., and Rockville, Md., is comprised of 23 former FDA Investigators. Among them are four former National Expert Investigators, two former District Directors, two former CDER compliance executives and other former senior FDA personnel.

KMI provides compliance and validation services to the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical and medical device industries. Its parent company, PAREXEL, is a global clinical research organization.
