Newman Labeling Machines, founded by Mr. Robert (Bob) Newman in 1943, has developed over the past 50-plus years a range of labeling machines that lead the way in meeting the specific needs of the pharmaceutical packaging industry and other equally demanding markets.

The ISO 9001-certified company is involved in two main product areas: pressure sensitive labeling machinery and cap-tightening machinery. Seventy per cent of output is exported; 30 per cent to North America.

Eighty per cent of turnover is derived from sales to the pharmaceutical industry; with 10 per cent stemming from household products manufacture and the balance from the cosmetics and food industries.

Our declared mission is: "to produce labeling machines built to the stringent quality requirements of the pharmaceutical industry and sell them worldwide." We believe we are the only UK manufacturer of pressure sensitive labeling machinery which can demonstrate an ability to meet the rigorous validation and audit requirements now demanded by the international pharmaceuticals industry.
