A. M. Todd Botanical Therapeutics (AMTBT), a major supplier of botanical extracts and nutritional supplements, announces that its primary manufacturer, Ningbo Green-Health Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (NGHP), has been awarded NSF International Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Registration. This registration is based on a successful in-depth audit demonstrating NGHP's compliance with current dietary supplement GMPs.

NSF International conducted a plant audit to verify compliance with current GMPs and will conduct periodic audits at NGHP to ensure continued conformance. GMPs are regulatory requirements that provide guidelines for necessary processes, procedures and documentation to assure the product produced has the identity, strength, composition, quality and purity it is represented to possess. The NSF Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Registration for contract manufacturers and internal manufacturing facilities of dietary supplement companies enables those manufacturers to become independently registered by NSF as complying with GMP requirements as listed in Section 8 of NSF/ANSI standard 173-2006.
In addition to the manufacture of AMTBT proprietary products by NGHP, AMTBT has exclusive distribution rights in North American to all NGHP manufactured products, most notably chondroitin and bilberry, ginkgo and ginseng extracts.
