NJM Packaging Introduces e-Pedigree Serialization Solutions At Interphex NY

Interphex NYC - Booth #2463 - NJM Packaging introduces a new integrated labeling machine that complies with electronic pedigree serialization and track-and-trace initiatives for regulated pharmaceuticals. The 130 BRONCO affixes serialized 2-D bar codes or RFID labels on bottles; the serialized code makes the data available to e-pedigree software via an Ethernet connection. This labeler helps pharmaceutical manufacturers reduce counterfeiting and assure patient safety while improving inventory management.

As the line integrator, NJM Packaging combines field-proven, best-in-class technologies including Optel Vision Systems, shrink bundlers, case packers and NJM Packaging labelers, such as the Model 130 BRONCO pressure sensitive labeler and the Model 400 PRINT & APPLY labeler. Offering customers single source responsibility, turnkey line integration services and full validation support, NJM Packaging’s “total solution” approach eases implementation and assures a seamless experience.

NJM Packaging’s e-pedigree serialization labeler handles square bottles. Options for handling nonsquare bottles are available. The labeler uses a UV ink jet printer to produce 2-D bar codes and a vision system to associate the container with the label. The machine labels at speeds of up to 200 bottles per minute.
