Open House Marchesini - 2010 Top Event Is Approaching

From October 18th to 22nd, 2010, Marchesini will open its doors to customers, the press and anyone who wishes to take a close look at the leading industrial group on the pharmaceutical and cosmetic packaging markets. The Open House event will be an opportunity to present the state of the art of the technology developed by Marchesini; the most cutting edge solutions at the service of customers as well as work methods focused on two concepts: innovation and versatility.

Many will be the novelties on show at the new factory, which will be inaugurated just down the road from the headquarters in Pianoro: as for the production and packaging machines of solid and powder products, 5 complete blister lines will be showcased (MB460, MB451 Evolution, MB430 and Integra 200), a complete counting line, made up of the brand new FTC24 counter and the capper ML667, and the strip packager MST300, this too on show for the first time to the public. To finish, a complete line equipped with the new stickpack filler MSP560.

As for liquid production machines, focus will be placed on the new robotic syringe line "No Contact", made up of a labeller with Robovision systems, a thermoformer by Farcon FBZ320 and an MA cartoner; spotlights will also be on the integrated line "Unica" made up of a thermoformer and cartoner equipped with two robots. What's more, on show will also be the new syringe filler FSP5 and the vial filler Steril 200, the new lines that work in an aseptic environment, arranged within a sterile chamber and set up for the event, the ampoule fillers RSF3 and RSF24 and a brand new line for filling and labelling vials for ophthalmic products, made up of the unscrambler OMF, the linear filler ML652 and the labeller RE202.

There will also be an area dedicated entirely to the topic of Track & Trace, where the whole series of BL labellers will be exhibited, each equipped with different software programs, to prove how versatile these machines really are. Robotics will also be given a dedicated area, in which two brand new models will be showcased: a Denester connected to a Renester, and two Robovision units. Many of the machines on show will indeed be equipped with robotic systems.

An impressive total of 15 complete lines will be exhibited, making 70 machines showcased altogether.

The stronghold of the Open House event will however not just be machines but will be people too.

A very important role is played by the after sales area, which has the dual function of front desk at the customer's service and showcase to demonstrate how the after sales service is organised and managed; from the production of parts in the factory of Calderino, to the monitoring of spare parts right through to storage and shipment to customers. Last but not least, the engineering service will illustrate how the widespread foreign network is organized, which is able to serve every single corner of the world, under the direction of the headquarters in Bologna.
