Operating Instructions: pH electrode InPro3100

Source: Mettler-Toledo AG, Process Analytics, Inc.

The METTLER TOLEDO pH sensor type InPro 3100 is a low-maintenance, autoclavable and pressure-resistant measuring electrode with a gel-type reference electrolyte. The reference element incorporates a silver-ion trap to prevent silver sulfide precipitation on the diaphragm. In case of InPro 3100, a temperature sensor is integrated, mainly for automatic temperature compensation possibilities of the pH signal during calibration and operation. Please read these instructions carefully before putting the sensor into operation, in order to ensure faultless operation. The InPro 3100 sensor is mainly designed for the measurement of pH value in biotechnical processes at moderate pressures (< 6 bar). It can be used under industrial fermentation, pilot and laboratory conditions, and is particularly intended for those processes where intermediate sterilization or autoclaving is indispensable.
