Optical Solutions, Inc.

Source: Optical Solutions, Inc.
As our name implies, we provide optical solutions to support your manufacturing processes with our ChemView® and ClearView™ line of process filter photometers and PS-2 diode array spectrophotometers. We can provide you with a complete system, including a probe, fiber optic cables, and initial calibrations.

We do this with fiber optic instrumentation that is made rugged for the plant environment, with few or no moving parts for the best reliability. Thus, you can concentrate on other activities, rather than spending time maintaining instruments. Fiber optics also allow remote analysis, thereby minimizing contact with hazardous materials, and they are intrinsically safe in any process environment.

Most importantly, we excel at helping you make instrumentation decisions with rapid feasibility studies. In fact, you will generally receive our report within 2 working days after we receive your samples. In this way, we build "partnering" relationships with most of our customers, and, if we feel there is a better solution to your measurement problem, we will point you in the right direction.

And, the support does not stop after the sale. We design our instruments with virtually no moving parts, but should anything fail, you will be able to contact us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our instruments are modular and surprisingly compact, so we can easily express replacement parts to you, or you can overnight the instrument back to us for quick repair.

Recently we added the capability to qualify an instrument and provide IQ/OQ to aid you in validating your methods.

Optical Solutions celebrated its 8th birthday this year and we have just moved to much a much larger facility in Roseville, California to accommodate the increasing demand for our products. Roseville is Northeast of Sacramento, about halfway between San Francisco and Lake Tahoe on I-80.

We design and prototype all of our products. All assembly, testing and certification are done in-house with local fabrication houses used for machining. The principals of the company combine years of expertise in instrumentation design, detectors, electrical engineering, spectroscopy and analytical chemistry. Much of this expertise has been within the process instrumentation market.

OUR GOAL:

TO PROVIDE YOU WITH A CLEAR PATH FORWARD, STARTING FROM LABORATORY FEASIBILITY TESTING AND ENDING WITH THE DELIVERY OF THE PROPER PROCESS ANALYZER PRE-CALIBRATED FOR YOUR APPLICATION.
