Manufacturing therapeutic cellular products, such as CAR-T cells, presents numerous challenges. One of the most critical steps in this process is the expansion of T-cells, which is essential to achieve the necessary cell quantity and quality. Implementing a scalable process in stirred culture systems offers significant advantages over static culture systems. This approach allows for the early investigation of the effects of agitation and other process control variables during the process development lifecycle. Our goal is to demonstrate that the Ambr® platform, in conjunction with MODDE® software, can accelerate process development for cell-based therapies. This combination not only speeds up development but also enhances our understanding of the process, leading to more efficient and effective therapeutic production.
