OSECO's Bi-Directional Sanitary Rupture Disk
OSECO, a leader in rupture disk innovation, announces the release of its FMS Sanitary Rupture Disk, the industry's first bi-directional rupture disk.
The FMS, developed for hygienic service, is designed to fit within standard ferrule connections and has extensive uses in the production of pharmaceutical supplies.
"We have built a reputation for producing top-of-the-line pressure relief products, and we're especially proud to offer this new innovation to our customers in the pharmaceutical industry," said Joseph Ragosta, OSECO president. "The FMS Sanitary Rupture Disk is produced using our exclusive state-of-the-art laser technology and comes with OSECO's safety stamp of approval."
The versatile FMS is constructed of 316 S.S. with a choice of red silicone or EPDM gaskets. Sizes range from 1.5 to 4 inches and have burst pressures from 5 psig to 60 psig.
OSECO, a Halma Group company, manufactures custom-engineered rupture disks, rupture panels and other pressure relief products in a climate-controlled, state-of-the-art facility. Computerized load cells are used in the manufacture of the company's high-performance rupture disks, enabling OSECO to control scoring depths to millionths of an inch. OSECO is also the only rupture disk manufacturer to utilize an in-house 5 axis laser.
